LONG TOURS TO GOBI BY CAR
Khongor sand dune – are the largest and the most spectacular sand dunes of Mongolian Gobi. It’s also known as Duut Mankhan (singing dunes). They are up to 500 m high, 12 km wide and about 100 km long. The largest dunes are in the north-western corner of the range. The dunes are about 250 km from Dalanzadgad city.
Yolyn Am – meaning “vulture’s mouth” in English, it is a valley of Gurvansaikhan Nuruu mountain range in the middle of Gobi. Yolyn Am is located 62km north-west from Dalanzadgad.
Bayanzag – Renamed as “Flaming cliffs” by Roy Chapman, a paleontologist from America, it is located in Bulgan village. Bayanzag was the very first place where Chapman found dinosaur eggs and bones, some of which are exhibited in the museum of Natural History in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 7. Drive to Kharhorin village where you will visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery.
Day 8. Overnight at a nomad family near Lun village – stay with family and have a traditional Mongolian barbeque called “Khorkhog”.
